Resident Assistant’s are concerned with all the tasks relating to personal care, boarding accommodation, meals, study, recreation periods and weekend activities of the PSA members. To provide a loving and nurturing environment to the members that are in our care. This is a year-a-round position.
Resident Assistant’s will perform the following tasks:
•Maintain good behavior of the PSA members
•Supervise and arrange activities to increase intellectual, physical, social and spiritual development
•Make sure living and hygiene standards are maintained
•Will transport all PSA members to and from school, activities, medical appointments, soccer games/practice, and airport transportation.
•Will maintain vehicles inspections/maintenance, fuel requirements and cleanliness
•Lend a sympathetic ear to PSA members with problems. and or home sickness
•Accompany PSA members to weekend outings and or scheduled games
•Direct PSA members in eating, resting, homework sessions, training sessions and personal hygiene
•Dispense medication to PSA members as needed and provide first aid treatment when necessary
•Maintain a safe and clean academy environment, perform minor domestic duties
•Help prepare pre-planned meals when Chef is off duty
•During the summer months continue house parent role for our summer campers
